Our Committees

Faith Development – This is our biggest committee. Within in there are two subcommittees called the Ritual teams and the Education teams. The Ritual team plans and oversees our services, Celebrations and Moons. The Education team oversees our adult classes and works with our guest speakers. Facilities – This is a roll up your sleeves and get to it group. They maintain our building and our grounds. They are constantly working to make improvements. Their biggest tasks in the coming year are grounds related. We will be added an herb garden and a container garden, improving our compost pile.

Membership – Are you the friendly type? Then we need you for the Membership Committee. Some of the things they are up to include: greeting people at services, getting kids to their class, helping new members settle in, and working to grow our congregation. The only skill needed is a friendly heart. This is also the committee that organizes our fellowship's social events.

Social Justice – Are you passionate about creating a better world for tomorrow? The Social Justice Committee helps educate Sacred Journey Fellowship about the causes we are most passionate about. They post information on the Social Justice Bulletin Board. They help us get involved. The committee also selects our causes for 1st Sunday Basket, a monthly donation to local causes. Library – Bookworms wanted: for the Library Committee. This committee helps organize our library, select our books and DVD's and keep our Fellowship Scrapbooks. They are beginning the big task of creating a database of the books in our library and creating a growing Earth-Centered Spiritual Growth Library. Find out more about our Library

Children's Education – This committee oversees our Kid's Education program, our Nursery and Kid's events. They organize child care for Moons and Special Events as well. We are hoping to expand these programs in the coming year starting by adding a Spiral Scouts program. Want to know more?

Finance – It all adds up, hopefully. The Finance committee plans and oversees our budget. They then give it to the Board and then the Congregation for vote. If numbers are your thing, then here is were we need you.
